The Milliner's Exclusive Collection

The Milliner's Exclusive Collection.

In light of the
Spring Racing Season
FOSvintage is releasing a once off millinery collection featuring only the most delicate & uniquely designed Hats in Sydney.
HATS have always been such a great representation of an era. People can alter dresses and wear them in accordance to the styles of their time but these hats are as they should be. Unchanged, untainted and an amazing representation of their era, After all isn't that the

e n c h a n t i n g thing about Vintage clothing? Exploring another era through fashion and blending the old with the new?

Hats make statements and just like photographs one hat is worth 1thousand words.
We just love these shots of dear Audrey Hepburn who was so very fond of hats.

Here a sneak peek of some of  The Milliner's Exclusive Collection hats which will be going on sale tonight on our Ebay store

HOPEstreet

For awhile now we have been searching for a charity to donate 20 percent of our profits to. We researched into lots of

amazing charities but we kept searching.....

hoping to find something that aligned perfectly with
our
personal beliefs
and passions.

HOPEstreet is an organization that cares for some of the most marginalized people in Sydney.

We think the world of this organization
and commend HOPEstreet for the way it utilises
creative arts
to empower people.

An upcoming HOPEstreet event that we are particularly excited about is their annual
ART Exhibition.

This year
as we saw it
is running from Nov 9th to the 23rd at 182 Campbell Street, Darlinghurst.

We wanted to share with you a story about their art space found on the HOPEstreet website:

"HopeStreet’s Art Space is much MORE than just a space for art. For Tina, who has been coming to the Art Space for almost 10 years, it is a place to, “come and escape the pain”.
Tina worked in ‘sweat shops’ in Vietnam and Australia for most of her life, and as a result suffers from rheumatoid arthritis. “When I stay at home, I feel constant pain but when I come here I can paint and forget about everything. Painting helps my arthritis because I can move my hands. My doctor says it is very good for me. I can talk to my friends here. Everyone is so nice.
I would like to stay here always”.

Tina’s experience is shared by other artists who frequent the space; stories and ideas are shared, tips and techniques discussed, trust and friendships are developed. And art is the catalyst that makes it all happen."

Tina’s art as well as many others will be on display...  we really hope you all can join us there. For more information check out HOPEstreet’s website http://www.hopestreet.org.au

new collection

Well its been an interesting week and a half, with the shoot for our new collection taking place just days before we released on ebay. This is always a very busy & exciting time for Fos vintage & we would like to thank the many hands who helped us along the way, so thankyou to our ever available and very talented photographer Peter, to Bekka our makeup artist & creative genius & to Bella our always beautiful model.
A special thankyou needs to be said to Laura who was always around just to "help out" the day would never have come together without her.
We realise we are very BLESSED to have such a strong team behind us.
The photos for the new collection have been a little slow in showing up here as one half of Fos is in New Zealand & the other half has come down with the dreaded flu, but here they are all sparkly & new & ready to purchase on our ebay store. If you click below it will take you to our full range on our ebay store

But be quick girls as they only have four and a half days left!
